Microsoft releases Preview of Windows 11
After waiting for a long time, the next generation of Windows is finally here. Windows 11 is a ultimate upgrade from Microsoft. It's getting a new features like Android app support, a new store and much more. However, the Microsoft hinted that the OS will launch on October 20th.
Windows 11 brings a new Start Menu, Icons, Startup Sound looks more like an app launcher, new File Explorer that replaces command bar that should simplify the tools. Snap Controls that let you pin a window to a spot in your screen, a new Widgets in the taskbar and new Windows setup experience.
The Notification center is revamped, along with rounded edges for windows, new volume flyouts and the widgets that brings all necessary yet personalized information in one place and is available in taskbar. The new amazing themes and wallpapers with both dark and light mode makes it so cool.
Microsoft introduced gaming features in Windows 11, where it is unlocks all the potential of your system's hardware, putting some of the latest gaming technology to work. DirectX 12 ultimate, which can enable breathtaking, immersive graphics at high frame rates, Direct Storage for faster load times with Auto HDR, vivid range of colors for a best visual experience with Automatic Refresh Rates.
Windows 11 brings news and information faster with widgets, where personalized feed powered by AI and best in class browser performance from Microsoft Edge. It supports Dynamic Refresh Rates(60Hz) and High ones(120Hz+) in order to balance battery, user experience and power usage.
You can able to launch Android apps directly within Windows and find them in the Microsoft store via Amazon's app store.
Windows will use Intel's Bridge Technology, runtime post compiler, to allow the Android apps to run natively and you can snap, pin to start, etc.
You can say goodbye to tablet mode, when you go to tablet mode on 2 in 1, there is more space between icons and touch targets, but the interface will remain largely the same. The pen experience has been updated which allows haptic feedbacks as you write. The touch keyboard is all new and let you customize it's look. Voice typing has also been improved and automatically adds punctuations while voice commands.
The new Microsoft Store for apps and content to watch, create, play, work and learn. The store is rebuilt for speed and several applications are installed. It's a collections of apps, games, shows, movies which is easier to search and discover with curated stories and collections.
Xbox Games Pass will be there in Windows 11, if you purchase a membership, you'll have access to hundreds of titles. Also, Xbox Cloud gaming feature will be useful if you have lesser system requirements.

Windows 11 will be free to upgrade on a Window 10 pc or laptop. All you need to have genuine Windows 10

Microsoft released the Windows 11 preview build, which is also available for free. However, you can get a glimpse of Windows 11 if you install the preview. Remember this is a beta version and it is full of bugs. You need to make up your mind before installing Windows 11 on your device.
